Wine is of course one of Italy’s greatest products, and has been for many centuries. On this tour, we will explore the countryside and wineries of Campania, the region that surrounds Naples and Amalfi Coast. Here, we’ll discover all about the wine making process and get to taste some of the local produce. The vines were originally planted by the Greeks, who introduced the ‘Greco di Tufo’ wine, made from the Greco grapes. These grapes are now grown throughout the region and are still used to make the wines today. On the tour, you will visit a couple of renowned wineries, where you will tour the cellars and enjoy tasting sessions from some of the best bottles this region produces.
