Literary fans will love this tour, based around L’Amica Geniale (My Brilliant Friend), the popular collection of novels written by author Elena Ferrante, and set in Naples. They explore the friendship of two Neapolitan girls, Elena, known as Lenù, and Raffaella, nicknamed Lila. Born before the war, the novels cover almost 60 years of history in the lives of its protagonists. The tour allows you to follow in the footsteps of these characters and begins with a visit to the area of Rione Luzzatti di Gianturco, where the girls were born. Later, in the centre of the city, our tour will take in the place where Lenù goes to buy books and where Lila buys here wedding dress and we’ll see the place where Lenù admires Mount Vesuvius with her father and stunning gardens where Lila gets married.
