Today you will visit Lecce or “the Florence of the South”, which is theBaroque capital of the Salento Province. Your guide will take you on a walking tour through this city rich inhistory, architecture and culture. With its Roman amphitheater and noblepalazzi, the city is full of amazing sights. Lecce is also known for itspastries and you will of course have the chance try some of the city’s famous“pasticciotto leccese”. You will then enjoy a delicious lunch at one of ourfavorite local restaurants before traveling to one of Apulia’s most renownedwineries. The engaging and passionate oenologist will take you on a beautifulwalk through the estate and the vineyards, and after you will be treated to aprivate wine tasting in the dining room that overlooks the oak barrels. Eachvintage is the result of years of care and dedication, and the resultingtasting is joy for your palate.
