Today’s tour will take youalong the southern shore of Lake Garda, relatively flat at first, but risingconsiderably as you drive further north until you reach rocky cliffs andpine-clad hills. The whole area is very much a summer playground, with numerouswater sports on offer and a couple of spa towns, where you can take the watersand treatments. You will also be able to take a steamer or catamaran trip onthe lake which will give you a much better glimpse of some of the sumptuousprivate villas which line the lakeside.
