This morning you will be taken to thestriking cliff side town of Polignano a Mare (which hosted the Red Bull CliffDiving Championship last year). It is known as the Amalfi of Apulia due to itsstunning panoramic views. At the port,you will embark on a boat (a modern skiff) to explore the sea caves hiddenunderneath the town. As the boat ducks in and out of the caves, you will beable to imagine the many centuries of smugglers who used the caves. The townitself is a real must-see and is home to some of the best seafood restaurantsin the area. You will be able to indulge in a delicious seafood lunch beforetaking a walk through the town and tasting some of the town’s famous deliciousartisan gelato.
