Dating back to424 BC, at Segesta you will see one of the finest Doric Greek temples anywherein the ancient world, along with a small theatre and the sanctuary of ContradaMango. From here, head to Selinunte, one of the most prosperous and importantGreek settlements between the 7th and 5th centuries BC.The site is split into two parts, with temples in each, known simply as TemplesA-G, in various stages of ruin with the most complete being Temple E, nearestthe sea. From here, go to the Acropolis with the remains of more temples, pluswell-preserved city streets and massive walls.
