Wine lovers are in for a treat today, with a visitto the Regaleali wine estate which enjoys the perfect microclimate for wineproduction. It is also in a very beautiful setting being up to 700 metres abovesea level and having lovely vegetation, including rosemary, broom andEucalyptus. The estate also has several lakes which in the migratory season,are home to grey herons, wild ducks and godwits. You will of course be able to taste thewhite, rose and red wines produced here, as well as the famous Regaleati nerod’Avola, literally, the ‘black’ wine. They also produce olive oil and grappa.
