Cagliari is the capital of Sardinia and has its largest port. Though a large city by Sardinian standards, it still has a delightful old part with the cathedral at its heart. There is also an excellent archaeological museum and some Roman remains, including an impressive amphitheatre. After lunch (not included), set off to Serdiana for some wine tasting in the Argiolas winery. A wine expert will show you the ancient equipment as well as the whole modern process. You will then be able to taste some Sardinian food specialities, accompanied by the appropriate and delicious wines.
