This is an ancient path, leading from Capri to Anacapri, winding upthrough a holly grove, along the side of Mount S.Maria. After winding around,you will come to a ravine that leads to a spectacular terrace, from where youwill be able to look down on the whole of Capri, stretching from the MarinaPiccola to the Faraglioni rocks. In the far distance, you will be able to seethe Sorrento-Amalfi peninsular. As you ascend further, you will be surroundedby Scotch brooms until you get to the junction of another path, leading to theValley of Cetrella. The trail is all uphill, and is quite steep and unprotectedin parts, climbing a total of 275m in height.
